Macon Holistic is Macon, Georgia’s premiere Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine Clinic. Founded by Dr. Monica Garcia-Jones, DAc., LAc., Macon Holistic offers clients acupuncture, herbal prescriptions, and cupping.
The focus of treatments you will receive at Macon Holistic center around the full experience of health and wellness. This means, physical ailments are just as important as balancing day-to-day stress, nutrition, and emotional harmony, because they all are connected to your overall well-being.
Dr. Garcia-Garcia-Jones grew up in San Francisco and lived 15 years in New York City before relocating with her husband and two children to Macon, Georgia.
Prior to her a career in holistic health, Dr. Garcia-Jones worked in the mental health and social service fields. For over a decade, Dr. Garcia-Jones worked with individuals overcome the barriers and stigma surrounding incarceration, drug addiction, homelessness, sex work, and mental health conditions.
Community Engagement
Dr. Garcia-Jones doesn’t treat patients on Thursday afternoons. She spends that time working at the Brookdale Resource Center, a temporary shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. In addition, Dr. Garcia-Jones volunteers her time providing free acupuncture sessions at the Macon Volunteer Clinic twice a month. Dr. Garcia-Jones is also a proud graduate of the Leadership Macon class of 2022! #bestclassever!

Dr. Monica Garcia-Jones holds a Doctoral degree in Acupuncture (DAc.) and a Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture (MSAc.), from Pacific College of Health and Science, the largest acupuncture and Chinese medicine college in the United States. Dr. Garcia-Jones, is a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc.), dually licensed in by the Georgia Composite Medical Board and the New York state Board of Regents. In addition, she is a NCCAOM® Board-Certified Acupuncturist and a Diplomate of Acupuncture.
As a practitioner of East Asian medicine, her wellness focus centers around the influence of lifestyle and emotions on the physical body, and to assist her clients in uncovering the root causes of their physical ailments. This includes incorporating conversations around nutrition, herbal supplements, exercise, and relaxation techniques into acupuncture treatments sessions.
